Meet the Assistant Principal
Jason Skube
Jason Skube entered the field of education following the completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education at Millikin University, Decatur, IL. After two years of successful teaching in Danville, IL, Mr. Skube was appointed to a full-time graduate assistant position at Michigan State University (GO GREEN!) serving both the Music Education department as well as the Spartan Athletic Bands. In the midst of graduating with a Master’s in Music Education, Mr. Skube arrived in Homer Glen where he served as the co-director of bands for 15 years. Throughout his tenure as an instrumental music educator, Mr. Skube thoroughly enjoyed providing his students with a skill set to be an instrumentalist as well as igniting a passion within in them love music. Mr. Skube also enacted the now longstanding Natural Helpers program at Homer Junior High annually co-leading a weekend training for nominated students and staff that was deeply rooted in building a positive school community and personal character. It was the incredible Natural Helper experience that inspired Mr. Skube to complete a second graduate degree in school administration where he could ultimately serve all students and colleagues within a school in varied capacities. Mr. Skube is proud to be a part of the 33C Administrative Team and to serve the Hadley Middle School community alongside a tremendous, dedicated staff.
