Dr. Craig Schoppe is a Homer 33C graduate and has worked in numerous roles within the District over the past 25 years. He worked as a custodian during college and graduate school. Mr. Schoppe also coached 6th grade boys’ basketball and 7th grade track for a few years while working as a school psychologist and assistant principal in other districts.

In 2007 Mr. Schoppe returned to Homer 33C to serve as the assistant principal at Hadley Middle School for three years before becoming the William J. Butler principal for five years. Mr. Schoppe continued in the District for two years as the Director of Support Personnel Services. This past year he worked in Frankfort School District 157C as the Director of Human Resources before returning to Homer 33C as the superintendent.

He and his wife, Tara, live in Manhattan. They have two sons and a daughter.
