Meet the Director of Building and Grounds
Bryan Baier has spent his entire career in various school districts as an outside contractor, primarily working as a 597 pipefitter providing service to Chicago public schools and multiple local districts repairing, installing, or upgrading heating and air conditioning units and Building Automation Systems. He “retired” from 597 about 4 years ago and moved into working directly with school districts. Recently, Bryan served as the Director of Facilities for Worth School District 127 and a building foreman at Rich HS 227. He carries two degrees from the University of Illinois - Chicago in business management and information technology and has been married to his wife Mafalda for 21 years with three children, a sophomore at Notre Dame (Elizabeth), a junior at Andrew HS (Ryan), and a 5th grader in Tinley Park Schools (Luke). Outside of working to ensure our buildings are the best places for our students and teachers, Bryan has coached Lacrosse and Football for youth programs in Tinley Park and Orland for the past 10+ years running.
