The mission of the Business Office is to continuously improve the quality of services to all internal and external partners of Homer Community Consolidated School District 33C through timely communication, accurate financial data and effective use of resources.

Meet Christi Tyler

Christi Tyler is a highly skilled Chief School Business Official who not only understands the complexities of school finance but the challenges teachers face each day in the classroom. After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from St. Xavier University, Mrs. Tyler began her career in the classroom, teaching junior high math and social studies in Burbank. She went on to teach middle school math in West Aurora while earning her Masters of School Business Management from Northern Illinois University. In 2008, Mrs. Tyler was named Director of Finance for Aurora West School District 129 -- a post she held for a year before being named the district’s Chief Financial Officer. In 2014, Mrs. Tyler was named Assistant Superintendent of Finance/CSBO for Aurora East School District 131. She joined the Homer 33C family in 2016.

Mrs. Tyler lives in Oswego with her husband, Gene. They have three adult children.
